पात्र गृहीत्वा सौवर्ण जलपूर्णमनिन्दिता । तच्छोणितं प्रत्यगृह्नाद्‌ यत्‌ प्रसुस्राव नस्ततः

Transliteration

pātraṃ gṛhītvā sauvarṇaṃ jalapūrṇam aninditā | tac choṇitaṃ pratyagṛhṇād yat prasusrāva nastataḥ ||

Translation

ನಿಂದಾರ್ಹಳಲ್ಲದ ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದು, ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ಹರಿದ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದಳು.
