तत्राल्पेनैव सिध्यन्ति मानवास्तपसा विभो । जम्बूमार्गो महाराज ऋषीणां भावितात्मनाम्
tatrālpenāiva sidhyanti mānavās tapasā vibho | jambūmārgo mahārāja ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām ||
ವಿಭೋ! ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನವರು ಅಲ್ಪ ತಪಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಹಾರಾಜನೇ! ಅದು ‘ಜಂಬೂಮಾರ್ಗ’—ಭಾವಿತಾತ್ಮರಾದ ಋಷಿಗಳು ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಪಥ.
धौम्य उवाच
Spiritual accomplishment depends not merely on the quantity of hardship but on the purity and discipline of the practitioner; in a sanctified context associated with realized sages, even modest austerity can bear swift fruit.
Dhaumya addresses a king and points out a revered route or region called Jambūmārga, emphasizing that it is a domain of accomplished sages and that austerities performed there lead to success with comparatively little effort.
