धृतराष्ट्र–संजय संवादः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
ततो्र्जुनस्त्वरमाणश्षित्रसेनमरिंदम: । सम्प्राप्पय रजनीवृत्तं तदुर्वश्या यथातथम्
tato 'rjunaḥ tvaramāṇaś citrasenam arindamaḥ | samprāpya rajanīvṛttaṃ tad urvaśyā yathātatham || tad-anantaraṃ śatrudamanaḥ pāṇḍukumāra arjunaḥ tvarayā citrasenasya samīpaṃ gataḥ; rātrau urvaśyā saha yā yathā tathā vṛttāntaṃ sa tasmai yathāvat kathayām āsa; śāpadānaṃ ca punar punar abhyadhāt ||
ಆಗ ಶತ್ರುದಮನನಾದ ಪಾಂಡುಕುಮಾರ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ತ್ವರೆಯಿಂದ ಚಿತ್ರಸೇನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉರ್ವಶಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದದ್ದು ಹೇಗಿತ್ತೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಅವಳು ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಿದಳು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮರುಮರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
