धृतराष्ट्र–संजय संवादः

वैशम्पायन उवाच तां तथा ब्रुव्तीं श्रुत्वा भृश॑ लज्जा5<वृतोडर्जुन: । उवाच कर्णाो हस्ताभ्यां पिधाय त्रिदशालये
vaiśampāyana uvāca | tāṃ tathā bruvantīṃ śrutvā bhṛśaṃ lajjā-vṛto 'rjunaḥ | uvāca karṇau hastābhyāṃ pidhāya tridaśālaye ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಜನಮೇಜಯ! ದೇವಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಉರ್ವಶಿಯು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ತೀವ್ರ ಲಜ್ಜೆಯಿಂದ ಆವರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು, ಎರಡೂ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಕಿವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
