हि () हल मय द्वात्रिशोड्थ्याय: द्रौोपदीका पुरुषार्थको प्रधान मानकर पुरुषार्थ करनेके लिये जोर देना द्रौपहुुवाच नावमन्ये न गहें च धर्म पार्थ कथंचन । ईश्वरं कुत एवाहमवमंस्ये प्रजापतिम्,द्रौपदी बोली--कुन्तीनन्दन! मैं धर्मकी अवहेलना तथा निन्दा किसी प्रकार नहीं कर सकती। फिर समस्त प्रजाओंका पालन करनेवाले परमेश्वरकी अवहेलना तो कर ही कैसे सकती हूँ
Draupady uvāca: nāvamanye na gahe ca dharmaṃ pārtha kathaṃcana | īśvaraṃ kuta evāham avamaṃsye prajāpatiṃ ||
ದ್ರೌಪದಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ಪಾರ್ಥನೇ! ನಾನು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಅವಮಾನಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿಂದಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಸರ್ವ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳ ಪಾಲಕನಾದ ಪ್ರಜಾಪತಿ ಈಶ್ವರನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಅವಮಾನಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆ?
