यक्ष उवाच धन्यानामुत्तमं किंस्विद् धनानां स्यात् किमुत्तमम् | लाभानामुत्तमं कि स्यात् सुखानां स्यात् किमुत्तमम्,यक्षने पूछा--धन्यवादके योग्य पुरुषोंमें उत्तम गुण क्या है? धनोंमें उत्तम धन क्या है? लाभोंमें प्रधान लाभ क्या है? और सुखोंमें उत्तम सुख क्या है?
Translation
ಯಕ್ಷನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಧನ್ಯರಾದ (ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯರಾದ) ಪುರುಷರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವೇನು? ಧನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಧನ ಯಾವುದು? ಲಾಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಲಾಭವೇನು? ಮತ್ತು ಸುಖಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸುಖವೇನು?
