Entry into the Yakṣa-Lake Episode
नारद उवाच क्व गताभूत् सुतेयं ते कुतश्चैवागता नृप । किमर्थ युवती भर्रें न चैनां सम्प्रयच्छसि,नारदजीने पूछा--राजन्! आपकी यह पुत्री कहाँ गयी थी और कहाँसे आ रही है? अब तो यह युवती हो गयी है। आप किसी वरके साथ इसका विवाह क्यों नहीं कर देते हैं?
nārada uvāca | kva gatābhūt suteyaṁ te kutaś caivāgatā nṛpa | kimarthaṁ yuvatī bhāryāṁ na caināṁ samprayacchasi ||
ನಾರದರು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ರಾಜನೇ! ನಿನ್ನ ಈ ಪುತ್ರಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಳು, ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಈಗ ಮರಳಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ? ಅವಳು ಈಗ ಯೌವನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀನು ಏಕೆ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಯೋಗ್ಯ ವರನಿಗೆ ವಿವಾಹವಾಗಿ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?
