कुमुदोत्पलपद्मानां गन्धमादाय वायुना । महीधरस्थ: शीतेन सहसा प्रतिबोधित:,शरदऋतुके निर्मल आकाशमें ग्रह, नक्षत्र तथा ताराओंसहित विमल चन्द्रमाका दर्शन करके शत्रुसंहारक श्रीराम अभी पर्वतपर सोये ही थे कि कुमुद, उत्पल और पद्मोंकी सुगन्ध लेकर बहती हुई शीतल एवं सुखद वायुने उन्हें सहसा जगा दिया
kumudotpalapadmānāṁ gandham ādāya vāyunā | mahīdharasthaḥ śītena sahasā pratibodhitaḥ ||
ಕುಮುದ, ಉತ್ಪಲ, ಪದ್ಮಗಳ ಸುಗಂಧವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ತಂದ ಶೀತಲ ಗಾಳಿ ಬೀಸಿತು; ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ (ರಾಮ) ಸಹಸಾ ಅದರಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡನು.
