Chapter 270: Slaying of Prahasta; Defeat of Dhūmrākṣa; Awakening of Kumbhakarṇa
गृहल्लीत चापानि महाधनानि शरांश्व शीघ्र पदवीं चरध्वम् । पुरा हि निर्भत्सनदण्डमोहिता प्रमोहचित्ता वदनेन शुष्यता
gṛhṇīta cāpāni mahādhanāni śarāṃś ca śīghra-padavīṃ caradhvam | purā hi nirbhatsana-daṇḍa-mohitā pramoha-cittā vadanena śuṣyatā ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಮಹಾಧನುಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬೆದರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಂಡದಿಂದ ಮೋಹಿತರಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಗೊಂದಲಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಗಳು ಒಣಗಿದ್ದವು।”
