ब्राह्मणानुयात्रा—शौनकोपदेशः

Brāhmaṇas Follow into Exile and Śaunaka’s Instruction

तदिदं वेदवचनं कुरु कर्म त्यजेति च । तस्माद्‌ धर्मानिमान्‌ सर्वान्‌ नाभिमानात्‌ समाचरेत्‌,वेदकी यह आज्ञा है कि कर्म करो और कर्म छोड़ो; अतः आगे बताये जानेवाले इन सभी धर्मोका अहंकारशून्य होकर अनुष्ठान करना चाहिये

tad idaṁ vedavacanaṁ kuru karma tyajeti ca | tasmād dharmān imān sarvān nābhimānāt samācaret |

ಇದೇ ವೇದವಚನ—“ಕರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಮಾಡು” ಮತ್ತು “ಕರ್ಮವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸು” ಸಹ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಡುವ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಧರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅಹಂಕಾರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
