उत्तङ्कोपाख्यानप्रारम्भः — Uttanka’s Tapas, Viṣṇu-stuti, and the Dhundhumāra Prophecy

हा मातस्तात पुत्रेति तास्ता वाच: सुदारुणा: । विक्रोशमानान् सुभृशं दस्यून् नेष्यति संक्षयम्,उस समय चोर और लुटेरे दर्दभरी वाणीमें “हाय मैया”, “हाय बप्पा” और “हाय बेटा' इत्यादि कहकर जोर-जोरसे चीत्कार करेंगे और उन सबका भगवान् कल्की विनाश कर डालेंगे। भारत! दस्युओंके नष्ट हो जानेपर अधर्मका भी नाश हो जायगा और धर्मकी वृद्धि होने लगेगी। इस प्रकार सत्ययुग आ जानेपर सब मनुष्य सत्यकर्मपरायण होंगे
hā mātas tāta putreti tāstā vācaḥ sudāruṇāḥ | vikrośamānān subhṛśaṃ dasyūn neṣyati saṃkṣayam ||
“ಅಯ್ಯೋ ತಾಯಿ! ಅಯ್ಯೋ ತಂದೆ! ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಮಗನೇ!” ಎಂದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕರುಣಾಜನಕವಾದ ದಾರುಣ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಅಳಲಾಡುವ ದಸ್ಯುಗಳನ್ನು (ಭಗವಾನ್) ಕಲ್ಕಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುವನು.
