Bhīmasena–Hanūmān Saṃvāda: The Tail Test and the Divine Path
vinā siddhagatiṁ vīra gatir atra na vidyate | devalokasya mārgo ’yam agamyo mānuṣaiḥ sadā ||
Access to higher, divine realms is not achieved by mere human effort or status; it requires siddhi—spiritual perfection attained through disciplined practice and purity. The verse underscores ethical-spiritual qualification over worldly identity.
Vaiśampāyana explains to an addressed ‘hero’ that the route being discussed is a divine path leading to Devaloka, and that ordinary humans cannot traverse it; only perfected beings (Siddhas) have the capacity to proceed.
