Bhīmasena–Hanūmān Saṃvāda: The Tail Test and the Divine Path
हनूमांश्व महासत्त्व ईषदुन्मील्य लोचने । दृष्टवा तमथ सावज्ञं लोचनैर्मधुपिड्लै: । स्मितेन चैनमासाद्य हनूमानिदमब्रवीत्,तब महान् धैर्यशाली हनुमानजीने आँखें कुछ खोलकर अपने मधुपिंगल नेत्रोंद्वारा अवहेलनापूर्वक उनकी ओर देखा और उन्हें निकट पाकर उनसे मुसकराते हुए इस प्रकार कहा
hanūmāṁś ca mahāsattva īṣad unmīlya locane | dṛṣṭvā tam atha sāvajñaṁ locanair madhupiṅgalaiḥ | smitena cainam āsādya hanūmān idam abravīt |
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಮಹಾಸತ್ತ್ವನಾದ ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತೆರೆದು, ಮಧುಪಿಂಗಲ ನೇತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅವಜ್ಞಾಭಾವದಿಂದ ನೋಡಿದನು. ಬಳಿಕ ನಗುತ್ತಾ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಹನುಮಾನ್ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
