तस्य लाडूलनिनदं पर्वत: सुगुहामुखै: । उद्गारमिव गॉर्नर्दन्नुत्ससर्ज समन््ततः,वह पर्वत उनकी पूँछकी फटकारके उस महान् शब्दको सुन्दर कन्दरारूपी मुखोंद्वारा सब ओर प्रतिध्वनिके रूपमें दुहराता था, मानो कोई साँड़ जोर-जोरसे गर्जना कर रहा हो
tasya lāḍūla-ninadaṃ parvataḥ su-guhā-mukhaiḥ | udgāram iva go-nardan-n utsasarja samantataḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅವನ ಬಾಲದ ಹೊಡೆತದಿಂದ ಎದ್ದ ಆ ಘನ ನಿನಾದವನ್ನು, ಅನೇಕ ಸುಂದರ ಗುಹಾಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಪರ್ವತವು ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿ ಮರಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿತು—ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಎಮ್ಮೆಯ ಗರ್ಜನೆಯಂತೆ।
