ahaṁ tu sarvalokasya gatvā chetsyāmi saṁśayam | yeṣām asti dvidhābhāvo rājan duryodhana prati ||
A leader committed to dharma should actively remove public confusion and moral ambivalence, enabling clear discernment of right and wrong—especially when society is divided about a powerful figure’s conduct.
In the tense lead-up to war, Yudhiṣṭhira declares his intention to go personally and resolve the doubts of those who are undecided about Duryodhana, aiming to clarify perceptions and guide judgment before irreversible conflict.
