Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था
यतो नारोचयदयं विग्रहं तैर्महात्मभि: । पुत्रोंसहित धर्मज्ञ एवं यशस्वी महात्मा पाण्डव कितने बलशाली हैं
yato nārocayad ayaṁ vigrahaṁ tair mahātmabhiḥ |
ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವೈರಾಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸುವುದು ಭೀಷ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಧರ್ಮಜ್ಞನೂ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯೂ ಆದ ಪಾಂಡವನು ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಬಲಶಾಲಿಯೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಂಥ ಮಹನೀಯರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದುಬಿಡುವುದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ರುಚಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
