प्रस्वापमस्त्रं त्वरितो वचनाद् ब्रह्मवादिनाम् । विचित्र च तदस्त्रं मे मनसि प्रत्यभात् तदा
prasvāpam astraṁ tvarito vacanād brahmavādinām | vicitraṁ ca tad astraṁ me manasi pratyabhāt tadā
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಾದಿ ಋಷಿಗಳ ವಚನದಂತೆ ನಾನು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ವಾಪನಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಿದೆನು. ಅದೇ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾದ ಅಸ್ತ್ರವು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿತು.
