Indra-vijaya Upākhyāna and Śalya’s Assurance to Yudhiṣṭhira (इन्द्रविजयोपाख्यानम् — शल्ययुधिष्ठिरसंवादः)
आख्यानमिन्द्रविजयं य इदं नियत: पठेत् । धूतपाप्मा जितस्वर्ग: परत्रेह च मोदते,जो पुरुष नियमपरायण हो इस इन्द्रविजय नामक उपाख्यानका पाठ करता है, वह पापरहित हो स्वर्गपर विजय पाता तथा इहलोक और परलोकमें भी सुखी होता है
ākhyānam indravijayaṃ ya idaṃ niyataḥ paṭhet | dhūtapāpmā jitasvargaḥ paratreha ca modate ||
ನಿಯಮಪಾಲನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ‘ಇಂದ್ರವಿಜಯ’ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಉಪಾಖ್ಯಾನವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಪಠಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅವರು ಪಾಪವಿಮುಕ್ತರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿ, ಇಹಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ।
