बहुविघ्न: सुरा: काल: काल: कालं॑ नयिष्यति । गर्वितो बलवांश्षापि नहुषो वरसंश्रयात्‌

Transliteration

bahuvighnaḥ surāḥ kālaḥ kālaḥ kālaṁ nayiṣyati | garvito balavānś cāpi nahuṣo varasaṁśrayāt ||

Translation

ದೇವಗಣರೇ! ಕಾಲವು ಅನೇಕ ವಿಘ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ಕಾಲವೇ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಅದರ ನಿಯತ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ವರದಾನದ ಆಶ್ರಯದಿಂದ ನಹುಷನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನಾಗಿ ಗರ್ವಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆದರೂ ಕಾಲವೇ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮರಣದ ದವಡೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿದೆ.
