इन्द्र: सतां सम्मतश्न निवासश्न महात्मनाम्‌ । सत्यवादी हानिन्द्यश्न धर्मवित्‌ सूक्ष्मनिश्चय:

indraḥ satāṁ sammataś ca nivāsaś ca mahātmanām | satyavādī anindyaś ca dharmavit sūkṣma-niścayaḥ ||

ಇಂದ್ರನು ಸಜ್ಜನರಿಂದ ಅಂಗೀಕೃತನೂ ಪೂಜ್ಯನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಮಹಾತ್ಮರಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ ಹೌದು. ಅವನು ಸತ್ಯವಂತ, ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಅತೀತ, ಧರ್ಮಜ್ಞ, ಮತ್ತು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಣಯಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು.
