ऋषय ऊचु: सकृत् सतां संगतं लिप्सितव्यं ततः परं भविता भव्यमेव । नातिक्रामेत् सत्पुरुषेण संगतं तस्मात् सतां संगतं लिप्सितव्यम्
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ: sakṛt satāṃ saṅgataṃ lipsitavyaṃ tataḥ paraṃ bhavitā bhavyam eva | nātikrāmet satpuruṣeṇa saṅgataṃ tasmāt satāṃ saṅgataṃ lipsitavyam ||
ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಆದರೂ ಸಜ್ಜನರ ಸಂಗವನ್ನು ಮನಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಬಯಸಬೇಕು; ಅದರ ನಂತರ ಮಂಗಳವೇ ಮಂಗಳ ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರ ಸಂಗವನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಬಾರದು; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಜ್ಜನರ ಸಹವಾಸವನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.
