करम्भवालुकास्तप्ता आयसीश्व शिला:पृथक् । लोहकुम्भी श्व॒ तैलस्य क्वाथ्यमाना: समन्ततः
karambha-vālukās taptā āyasīś ca śilāḥ pṛthak | loha-kumbhī ca tailasya kvāthyamānāḥ samantataḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಕೆಲವೆಡೆ ಕರಂಭ ಮಿಶ್ರಿತ ಮರಳು ಉರಿಯುವಂತೆ ಬಿಸಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಇನ್ನೆಡೆ ಬೇರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ಬಿಸಿಯಾದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಶಿಲೆಗಳು ಕಂಡವು; ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕುಂಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕುದಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
