स्मरन्नेको जपन्नेक: सर्वानिको युधिष्ठिर । एकस्मिन्नेव चाचार्ये शुश्रूषुमलपड्कवान्‌

Transliteration

smarann eko japann ekaḥ sarvān eko yudhiṣṭhira | ekasminn eva cācārye śuśrūṣum alapaṅkavān ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರಾ! ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿಯು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಜಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು. ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಮಣ್ಣು-ಕೆಸರು ಅಂಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಸದಾ ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿ, ಒಂದೇ ಆಚಾರ್ಯನ ಪರಿಚರ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿರಬೇಕು।
