ईश्वरो हि जगत्स्रष्टा प्रभुनोातियणो विराट्
īśvaro hi jagatsraṣṭā prabhur nārāyaṇo virāṭ
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸರ್ವವ್ಯಾಪಿ ವಿರಾಟ್ ನಾರಾಯಣನೇ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನೂ ಪರಮಾಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಅಧೀನದಲ್ಲೇ ವಿಶ್ವಕ್ರಮ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮಾಚರಣೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನ ಇಚ್ಛಾ-ಶಾಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
