Systems of Knowledge and Vyāsa’s Nārāyaṇa-Origin
ऋषि: शान्तिर्महाभागस्तथा वेदशिराशक्ष यः । ऋषिश्रेष्ठक्ष कपिल: शालिहोत्रपिता स्मृत:
bhīṣma uvāca | ṛṣiḥ śāntir mahābhāgas tathā vedaśirāś ca yaḥ | ṛṣiśreṣṭhaḥ kapilaḥ śālihotrapitā smṛtaḥ ||
ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಭಾಗ ಋಷಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವೇದಶಿರಸೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಋಷಿಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಕಪಿಲ—ಶಾಲಿಹೋತ್ರನ ತಂದೆ ಎಂದು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವವನು—ಅವನೂ ಸೇರಿದ್ದನು.
