तस्मै शय्यासन दिव्यं देवह रत्नभूषितम्‌

Transliteration

tasmai śayyāsanaṁ divyaṁ devaharatnabhūṣitam

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಅವನಿಗೆ ದಿವ್ಯವಾದ ಶಯ್ಯಾ-ಆಸನವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು; ಅದು ದೇವರತ್ನಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು”—ಇದು ಯೋಗ್ಯ ಗ್ರಹೀತನಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಗೌರವ ತೋರಿಸುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಧರ್ಮಾನುಸಾರ ಯಥೋಚಿತ ಆತಿಥ್ಯ-ಸತ್ಕಾರದ ಆದರ್ಶವನ್ನೂ ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
