विमुक्त: पुण्यपापे भ्य: प्रविष्टस्तमनामयम्‌ | परमात्मानमगुणं न निवर्तति भारत,भारत! पुण्य-पापसे रहित हुआ सांख्ययोगी मुक्त होकर जब उन्हीं निर्मुण-निर्विकार नारायणस्वरूप परमात्मामें प्रविष्ट हो जाता है, फिर वह इस संसारमें नहीं लौटता है

vimuktaḥ puṇya-pāpebhyaḥ praviṣṭas tam anāmayam | paramātmānam aguṇaṃ na nivartati bhārata bhārata ||

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಪುಣ್ಯ-ಪಾಪ ಎರಡರಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಮುಕ್ತನಾದ ಸಾಂಖ್ಯಯೋಗಿ, ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗಿ, ನಿರ್ಮಲ ನಿರಾಮಯ ನಿರ್ಗುಣ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಹೇ ಭಾರತ, ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಈ ಸಂಸಾರಚಕ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ।
