शुक्ल: शुक्लाभिजातीय: साध्यो नावर्ततेडनघ । तिर्यग्गतेश्व निर्मुक्तो निरयाच्च पितामह
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
śuklaḥ śuklābhijātīyaḥ sādhyo nāvartate 'nagha |
tiryaggateṣv anirmukto nirayāc ca pitāmaha ||
ಯುಧಿಷ್ಠಿರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ನಿಷ್ಪಾಪ ಪಿತಾಮಹ! ಅವನು ‘ಶುಕ್ಲ’—ಶುದ್ಧ ವಂಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದವನು, ಸ್ವಭಾವತಃ ಶುದ್ಧನೂ ಹೌದು. ಅವನು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯ ದೇವತೆಯೇ ಎನ್ನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಲೋಕಸಂಸಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಪಶು-ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಯೋನಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನರಕದಿಂದಲೂ ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಪಿತಾಮಹ।
