मृत्युकारणप्रश्नः / Inquiry into the Cause and Designation of Death
इत्येवं हृदयग्रन्थिं बुद्धिचिन्तामयं दूढम् । अनित्यं सुखमासीत अशोचंश्छिन्नसंशय:
ity evaṁ hṛdaya-granthiṁ buddhi-cintā-mayaṁ dūḍham | anityaṁ sukham āsīta aśocañ chinna-saṁśayaḥ ||
ವ್ಯಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹೀಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸು-ಬುದ್ಧಿಯ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸದ ಚಿಂತನೆಯಿಂದ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಿಗಿದಿರುವ ಹೃದಯಗ್ರಂಥಿ—ಅವಿದ್ಯಾಮಯವಾದ, ಅನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಗಂಟನ್ನು—ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ಸಾಧಕನು ಶೋಕವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಸಂಶಯಗಳು ಛಿನ್ನವಾಗಿ, ಕ್ಷಣಿಕದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವಲಂಬಿಸದ ಸುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿ, ಆತ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಬೇಕು॥
