इन्द्र–बलि संवादः
The Dialogue of Indra and Bali on Fortune, Humility, and Restraint
ततस्तमुपसर्पन्ति गुणा राजसतामसा: । सात्त्विका वा यथायोगमानन्तर्यफलोदयम्,उस स्वप्नरका दर्शन होते ही सात्विक, राजस अथवा तामस गुण यथायोग्य सुख- दुःखरूप फलका अनुभव करानेके लिये उसके पास आ पहुँचते हैं
tatastam upasarpanti guṇā rājasatāmasāḥ | sāttvikā vā yathāyogam ānantarya-phalodayam ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ನಂತರ ಸ್ವಪ್ನದರ್ಶನವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಸಾತ್ತ್ವಿಕ, ರಾಜಸ, ತಾಮಸ ಗುಣಗಳು ಅವನ ಸ್ವಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ, ಸುಖ-ದುಃಖರೂಪವಾದ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಫಲಗಳ ತಕ್ಷಣದ ಉದಯವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ.
