ततः सत्यं च धर्म च तपो ब्रह्म च शाश्वतम् । आचारं चैव शौचं च स्वर्गाय विदथे प्रभु:,उसके बाद भगवान् ब्रह्माने स्वर्ग-प्राप्तिके साधनभूत सत्य, धर्म, तप, सनातन वेद, आचार और शौचके नियम बनाये
tataḥ satyaṃ ca dharmaṃ ca tapo brahma ca śāśvatam | ācāraṃ caiva śaucaṃ ca svargāya vidadhe prabhuḥ ||
ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಭು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಸ್ವರ್ಗಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಾಧನಗಳಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯ, ಧರ್ಮ, ತಪಸ್ಸು, ಶಾಶ್ವತ ವೇದ (ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ), ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸದಾಚಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಶೌಚ—ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದನು।
