Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
चरन्तं ब्राह्मणं कज्चित् कल्पचित्तमनामयम् | पप्रच्छ राजा प्रह्मादो बुद्धिमान् बुद्धिसम्मतम्
bhīṣma uvāca | carantaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ kaścit kalpacittam anāmayam | papraccha rājā prahrādo buddhimān buddhisammatam ||
ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನನ್ನು—ದೃಢಚಿತ್ತನಾಗಿ, ದುಃಖ-ಶೋಕವಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ, ಸಮಚಿತ್ತನಾಗಿ—ನೋಡಿ, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನಾದ ರಾಜ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದನು.
