असंतोषादिदोष-निरूपणम्

On the Faults of Discontent and the Discipline of Detachment

ते जनास्तां गति यान्ति नाविद्वांसो5ल्पचेतस: । नाबुद्धयो नातपस: सर्व बुद्धौ प्रतेष्ठितम्‌,बुद्धिमान्‌ और तपस्वी ही उस गतिको प्राप्त होते हैं। जो अज्ञानी, मन्दबुद्धि, शुद्धबुद्धिसे रहित और तपस्यासे शून्य हैं--वे नहीं। क्योंकि सब कुछ बुद्धिमें ही प्रतिष्ठित है

Translation

ಆ ಪರಮಗತಿಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರು, ಮಹಾಚೇತಸರು, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರು ಮತ್ತು ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳೇ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು, ಮಂದಬುದ್ಧಿಗಳು, ಶುದ್ಧಬುದ್ಧಿರಹಿತರು, ತಪಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದವರು—ಅವರು ಪಡೆಯರು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
