Tapas as the Root of Attainment (तपः—साधनमूलप्रशंसा)
कृपा : कर ् न फ सदैव शकुनास्तात मृगाश्चाथ तथा गजा: । वसन्ति तव संहृष्टा मनोहर मनोहरा:
kṛpāḥ karṇaphāḥ sadaiva śakunās tāta mṛgāś cātha tathā gajāḥ | vasanti tava saṁhṛṣṭā manohara manoharāḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ತಾತ, ಮನೋಹರ ವೃಕ್ಷರಾಜ! ನಿನ್ನ ಶಾಖೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸದಾ ಅನೇಕ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಕೆಳಗೆ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಗಜಗಳೂ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ನೆಲೆಸಿವೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವೇ ಜೀವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯವಾಗಿ, ಶಾಂತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಂದಾಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
