Daṇḍa-svarūpa-nirūpaṇa
The Nature, Forms, and Function of Daṇḍa
एवं मयूरवद् राजा स्वराज्यं परिपालयेत् | आत्मवृद्धिकरीं नीतिं विदधीत विचक्षण:
evaṁ mayūravad rājā svarājyaṁ paripālayet | ātmavṛddhikarīṁ nītiṁ vidadhīta vicakṣaṇaḥ ||
ನವಿಲು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾಪಾಡುವಂತೆ, ವಿವೇಕಿಯಾದ ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಾಗರೂಕವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ತನ್ನ ಬಲ, ಗೌರವ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿಡುವ ರಾಜನೀತಿಯನ್ನೇ ಅವನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಬೇಕು.
