Duryodhana-vadha-pratikriyā: Harṣa, Nindā, and Kṛṣṇa’s Nīti-vyākhyā (Śalya-parva 60)
ततो लाडलमुद्यम्य भीममभ्यद्रवद् बली
tato lāṅgalam udyamya bhīmam abhyadravad balī |
ಆಗ ಮಹಾಬಲಿಯಾದ ಬಲರಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಲಾಂಗಲಾಯುಧವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಭೀಮಸೇನನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಧಾವಿಸಿದನು. ಭುಜಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಆ ಮಹಾತ್ಮನ ರೂಪವು ಅನೇಕ ಧಾತುಗಳ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಕాంతಿಯಿಂದ ಶೋಭಿಸುವ ಮಹಾ ಶ್ವೇತಪರ್ವತದಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports that Balarāma lifts his ploughshare weapon and charges toward Bhīma, his appearance compared to a great white mountain—signaling an imminent confrontation driven by anger and a desire to correct or punish.
