यथा त्वया महाभागे मदर्थ संशितव्रते । विशेषो हि त्वया भद्ठे व्रते ह्स्मिन्‌ समर्पित:

Transliteration

yathā tvayā mahābhāge mad-arthaṁ saṁśita-vrate | viśeṣo hi tvayā bhadre vrate ’smin samarpitaḥ ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾಭಾಗ್ಯವತೀ, ದೃಢವ್ರತಧಾರಿಣೀ! ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಂತೆ, ವಿಶುದ್ಧಹೃದಯಳಾದ ದೇವಿ ಅರುಂಧತೀ ಕೂಡ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಮಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಳು. ಭದ್ರೇ, ಈ ವ್ರತದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ವಿಶೇಷ ಆತ್ಮಸಮರ್ಪಣವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
