इत्युक्ता सापचत् तानि ब्राह्मणप्रियकाम्यया । अधिभश्रित्य समिद्धे5ग्नौी बदराणि यशस्विनी
ity uktā sā apacat tāni brāhmaṇa-priya-kāmyayā | adhibhṛśritya samiddhe 'gnau badarāṇi yaśasvinī ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಯಶಸ್ವಿನಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಲು ಬಯಸಿ, ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹೊತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಬದರಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಬೇಯಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಳು.
