तासां तदू्‌ वचन श्रुत्वा दक्ष: सोममथाब्रवीत्‌ । सम॑ वर्तस्व भार्यासु मा त्वां शप्स्ये विरोचन

Transliteration

tāsāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā dakṣaḥ somam athābravīt | samaṁ vartasva bhāryāsu mā tvāṁ śapsye virocanā ||

Translation

ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ದಕ್ಷನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸೋಮನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಓ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ಚಂದ್ರದೇವಾ! ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪತ್ನಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸು; ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವೆ, ಓ ವಿರೋಚನ!”
