Brahmaśirastra-pratisaṃhāra — Retraction and redirection of the supreme weapon
Sauptika Parva, Adhyāya 15
सत्यव्रतधर: शूरो ब्रह्मचारी च पाण्डव: | गुरुवर्ती च तेनास्त्रं संजहारार्जुन: पुन:
satyavratadharaḥ śūro brahmacārī ca pāṇḍavaḥ | guruvartī ca tenāstraṃ saṃjahārārjunaḥ punaḥ ||
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಸತ್ಯವ್ರತಧಾರಿ, ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿ, ಶೂರ ಪಾಂಡವ ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಗುರುಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆ ಅಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
