Escalation of Wagers and Shakuni’s Repeated Declarations of Victory
इदं तु त्वां कुरुगाजो 5 भ्युवाच पूर्व पृष्टवा कुशलं चाव्ययं च । इयं सभा त्वत्सभातुल्यरूपा भ्रातृणां ते दृश्यतामेत्य पुत्र
idaṃ tu tvāṃ kururājo 'bhyuvāca pūrvaṃ pṛṣṭvā kuśalaṃ cāvyayaṃ ca | iyaṃ sabhā tvat-sabhā-tulya-rūpā bhrātṝṇāṃ te dṛśyatām etya putra ||
ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲು ಕುರುರಾಜ ಧೃತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಶಲ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ಷಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ಈ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ—‘ಮಗನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಈ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ; ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡು.’
