मय उवाच युक्तमेतत्‌ त्वयि विभो यथा55त्थ पुरुषर्षभ । प्रीतिपूर्वमहं किंचित्‌ कर्तुमिच्छामि भारत

Transliteration

maya uvāca yuktam etat tvayi vibho yathāttha puruṣarṣabha | prītipūrvam ahaṃ kiñcit kartum icchāmi bhārata ||

Translation

ಮಯಾಸುರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಪ್ರಭು, ಪುರುಷರ್ಷಭ! ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ನಿನ್ನಂತಹ ಮಹಾಪುರುಷನಿಗೆ ಯುಕ್ತವೇ. ಆದರೂ, ಹೇ ಭಾರತ, ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
