उवाच भरतश्रेष्ठ प्रसीदेति पुन: पुनः । क्षमस्व राजन यत्र प्रोक्त धर्मकामेन भीरुणा

Transliteration

uvāca bharataśreṣṭha prasīdeti punaḥ punaḥ | kṣamasva rājan yatra proktaṃ dharmakāmena bhīruṇā ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಭರತಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಅವನು ಮರುಮರು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು— “ರಾಜನೇ, ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗು, ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗು. ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ, ಭಯದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಅನೌಚಿತ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸು.”
