कर्णवधार्थं धनञ्जयस्य प्रतिज्ञा — Arjuna’s resolve for Karṇa’s defeat
विप्रमुक्तास्तु ते योधा: फाल्गुनस्य रथं प्रति । ससृजुर्बाणसंघांश्व॒ शस्त्रसंघांश्व॒ मारिष
vipramuktās tu te yodhāḥ phālgunasya rathaṃ prati | sasṛjur bāṇasaṅghāṃś ca śastrasaṅghāṃś ca māriṣa ||
ಆಗ ಆ ಯೋಧರು ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಮುಕ್ತರಾಗಿ ಫಾಲ್ಗುನನ (ಅರ್ಜುನನ) ರಥದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಾಣಗಳ ಘನಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿ ಎಸೆದರು, ಓ ಮಾರಿಷ।
