कर्णनिधनश्रवणम् — Hearing of Karṇa’s Fall and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament
बहुशो योधयित्वा तु भीमसेनं महारथम् । मद्रराजात्मज: शूर: परेषां भयवर्धन: । असिचर्मधर: श्रीमान् सौभद्रेण निपातितः
bahuśo yodhayitvā tu bhīmasenaṃ mahāratham | madrarājātmajaḥ śūraḥ pareṣāṃ bhayavardhanaḥ | asicarmadharaḥ śrīmān saubhadreṇa nipātitaḥ |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಮಹಾರಥಿ ಭೀಮಸೇನನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ, ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ, ಕತ್ತಿ-ಗುರಾಣಿ ಧರಿಸಿದ ಮದ್ರರಾಜನ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಶೂರಪುತ್ರನು ಸೌಭದ್ರ (ಅಭಿಮನ್ಯು)ನಿಂದ ನಿಪಾತಿತನಾದನು.
