देवा ऊचु: प्रमर्दितानां वृत्रेण देवानां देवसत्तम | गतिर्भव सुरश्रेष्ठ त्राहि नो महतो भयात्
devā ūcuḥ: pramarditānāṁ vṛtreṇa devānāṁ devasattama | gatir bhava suraśreṣṭha trāhi no mahato bhayāt ||
ದೇವರುಗಳು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಓ ದೇವಸತ್ತಮ! ವೃತ್ರನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನುಚ್ಚು ನೂರಾಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಓ ಸುರಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ! ನೀನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಗತಿಯಾಗು; ಈ ಮಹಾಭಯದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.
