Droṇa Interdicts Sātyaki; Sātyaki’s Breakthrough and Duel with Kṛtavarmā (द्रोण-निवारणम्, सात्यकि-प्रवेशः, कृतवर्म-युद्धम्)

Wisdom is measured not by reputation but by adherence to sanātana-dharma; following unrighteous counsel—especially from those driven by ambition and deceit—constitutes a moral failure even for the learned.
Sanjaya rebukes a figure addressed as ‘you’ (contextually, a respected elder/decision-maker), pointing out the contradiction between being known as wise and yet forsaking dharma by aligning with the strategic opinions of Duryodhana, Karna, and Shakuni in the unfolding war.
