अभिमन्योर् दारुणः संमर्दः
Abhimanyu’s fierce melee amid chariot formations
तमूहुवाजिनो वश्या: सैन्धवा: साधुवाहिन: । विकुर्वाणा बृहन्तो5श्वा: श्वसनोपमरंहस:
sañjaya uvāca | tam ūhuḥ ājino vaśyāḥ saindhavāḥ sādhuvāhinaḥ | vikurvāṇā bṛhanto 'śvāḥ śvasanopamarāṃhasaḥ |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಸಿಂಧುದೇಶದ ಆ ಮಹಾಶ್ವಗಳು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದವು, ಲಗಾಮಿನ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸಾರಥಿಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಪುಣವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸುವವು; ಅವೇ ಜಯದ್ರಥನನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದವು. ವಿವಿಧ ಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಗಾಳಿಯಂತೆ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದವು.
