अभिमन्युना दुःशासनस्य ताडनम्

न हास्य समरे युद्धोेदन्तको5प्याततायिन: । किमज़् पुनरेवान्यो मर्त्य: सत्यं ब्रवीमि व:
na hāsya samare yuddhodantako 'py ātatāyinaḥ | kim u punaḥ evānyo martyaḥ satyaṃ bravīmi vaḥ ||
ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಉದ್ಧತನಾದ ಆತನಾತಾಯಿಯೂ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ‘ಅಂತ’ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಗಿರಲು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲನು?—ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
