निरस्तजिद्दानयनान्‌ निष्कीर्णान्त्रयकृद्घनान्‌ । हतारोहांश्छिन्नघण्टान्‌ क्रव्यादगणमोदकान्‌

Transliteration

nirastajiddānayanān niṣkīrṇāntrayakṛdghanān | hatārohāṁś chinnaghaṇṭān kravyādaganmodakān ||

Translation

ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಗರ್ವವು ಕುಸಿದ ಯೋಧರು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರು; ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಿಶ್ಚಲವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಜೀವವಾಗಿದ್ದವು; ಅಂತ್ರಗಳು ಹೊರಚಿಮ್ಮಿ ದೇಹಗಳು ರಕ್ತಭಾರದಿಂದ ಭಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಸವಾರರು ಹತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ಗಂಟೆಗಳು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮೌನ ಆವರಿಸಿತ್ತು; ಮಾಂಸಭಕ್ಷಕ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಗುಂಪುಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದವು.
